AI SEO Rainmakers vs The New Search: $269 vs $59, Which AI SEO Skool Group Wins?

Affiliate disclosure: we paid $269 for our own seat and earn a commission if you join through our links. That does not change the price you pay.

The New Search is the group Kasra Dash ranked first in his own "Best AI SEO Skool Groups 2026" article. It costs $59 a month and has 21 members. AI SEO Rainmakers, run by Charles Floate, costs $269 a month and has 314. One is a small citation-focused room with a 30-day results guarantee. The other is a four-week-old operator group that already tops the category on price and post volume. We pay for Rainmakers. We have not paid for The New Search, so its facts below come from its public Skool about page, checked on 6 September 2026.

Our pick

Rainmakers for operators who rank many assets and want repos, teardowns and a weekly call that runs until the questions stop. The New Search for a single brand owner who wants to show up in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers without spending $269 a month. The price gap is $210 a month. Whether that gap is worth paying depends on how many sites you touch.

Who runs each group

Charles Floate is the British SEO who got penalised by Google in 2013 and 2016 for teaching black hat in public, then went on to train 20,000+ SEOs, run an $800k a year consulting desk by 27, and scale PressWhizz from $60k to $750k a month as CMO. He lives in Koh Samui, Thailand, and runs the Wednesday call from there. He launched AI SEO Rainmakers on 10 August 2026 and sold the 100 founding seats in 7 hours. Background on the Charles Floate page.

Kasra Dash is an SEO consultant in Manchester, UK, who publishes at kasradash.com and posts on X as @Kasra_Dash. His Skool bio says "SEO Expert" and little else. He is the only admin in The New Search. On 13 July 2026 he published a ranking of AI SEO Skool groups that placed his own group first, ahead of AI SEO Operators, AI Ranking and AEO. That is a normal thing for a founder to do, but it means the "#1" claim you may see elsewhere traces back to him.

Price, and how each one changes

The New Search is $59 a month as of 6 Sep 2026. The Skool page states the rate holds until the group hits 30 members and shows the count at 21 of 30. After that the price rises, though the page does not say by how much. So the $59 figure has a shelf life of nine more joins.

Rainmakers uses a published ladder. Founding members paid $179. The rate has climbed $10 per 25 seats ever since, and members 276 to 300 pay $269. The next step is $279 at member 301, with 314 already on the about page. Your rate locks while you stay subscribed and never comes down. The pricing page tracks every step.

At today's rates the difference is $210 a month, or $2,520 a year. That is enough to pay for The New Search for 42 months. The question is what you get for the extra money, and that is the next section.

What you get inside

AI SEO Rainmakers

A weekly live Q&A on Wednesdays at 6pm Thailand time. seo.stream says 90 minutes; the three recordings we watched ran 3h57m in total because Charles keeps going until the questions run out. A classroom of 10 courses and 70 modules, gated by Skool level. Day one, most were locked. By day 3 seven were open. Four downloadable repos (parasite-builder, build-agent, mini-brain, plus a monthly Operator roadmap to December 2026), a Claude Skills Library, CharlesGPT 3.1, and a 5 September drop of 100+ AI SEO skill files. The feed passed 540 posts in three weeks across five channels: The Lab, New Intel, Builds, Wins, Questions. We measured 6h37m of classroom video across 27 lessons, and around 60% of that is the call recordings. The curriculum page lists every course.

The New Search

The Skool page lists five things: tests of your keywords across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI; AI citation and visibility playbooks; major AI-search updates decoded; weekly live calls with Kasra; and a private operator community. Kasra's July article describes the tests as one-click prompts you run yourself. There is no course count, no video total and no repo list on the page. With 21 members the feed will be quiet, which cuts both ways: less noise, but fewer test results from other people. We cannot report on the inside because we are not members.

Teaching style

Charles teaches as an operator with a lot of sites. The classroom includes a Dark Library, a parasite SEO pipeline, live teardowns and a vibe-coding course that expects you to open a terminal. He names black and gray hat plays as such. The weekly call is the product for many members: specific answers to specific sites, recorded and filed in the classroom.

Kasra's pitch is narrower and cleaner. One brand, five AI engines, a set of prompts to check where you stand, and playbooks for closing the gap. The 30-day citation guarantee tells you the scope: it is built for someone who owns a brand and wants AI to mention it. Someone ranking twenty affiliate domains needs a different room. The group's description on Skool talks about customers asking ChatGPT and Gemini who is best in a niche, which is the problem it sets out to solve.

Who each group suits

Pick Rainmakers if

  • You run several sites, affiliate assets or parasite pages
  • You want code: repos, skill files, a custom GPT
  • You want a large feed with daily test results from other operators
  • Gray hat fits your risk tolerance

Pick The New Search if

  • You own one brand and want it named in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers
  • $59 is your budget and $269 is not
  • You want a results-based guarantee rather than a trial
  • You prefer a small room with direct access to the founder

Beginners should read our best AI SEO Skool communities list first. Two of the groups on it are free. Our alternatives page covers the rest, including AI SEO Mastery Pro for local agencies.

Our pick, with the caveats

We pay for Rainmakers and we would pay again. The reasons are the call, the repos, and the volume of material arriving each week. Our sister review scored it 4.8 out of 5, with Value for Money the weakest line at 3.5 because it is the priciest group in the category.

The caveats. We have not paid for The New Search, so this comparison is one group from inside and one from its front page. The New Search has 21 members and a single review, which is too little data to judge it on. Rainmakers is four weeks old with no member yet past two months. Both are new. And Rainmakers' black and gray hat lean rules it out for anyone whose clients need a clean paper trail; in that case Kasra's white hat citation work is the safer buy.

If you are a brand owner with one site, join The New Search at $59, use the 30 days, and see if the guarantee holds. If you are an AI SEO Rainmaker type who ranks assets for a living, the $269 seat pays back on the first call where Charles answers your question about your site.

Questions people ask

Is The New Search on Skool worth $59 a month?

For a brand owner who wants to be cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI answers, the offer is cheap for what it lists: keyword tests across five AI engines, citation playbooks, weekly live calls and a 30-day cited-or-refund guarantee. The caveat is size. As of 6 Sep 2026 it has 21 members and one review. Kasra Dash says the price rises once it passes 30 members.

Who runs The New Search?

Kasra Dash, an SEO consultant based in Manchester, UK, who runs kasradash.com. He is the sole admin of the group as of 6 Sep 2026. His July 2026 article ranked The New Search first among AI SEO Skool groups, so treat that ranking as his own marketing rather than a third-party verdict. The Skool page says the listing was last updated on 5 September 2026.

Does The New Search offer a refund?

Yes. The Skool about page (checked 6 Sep 2026) says get your brand cited within 30 days or get your money back. That is an outcome guarantee rather than a plain trial, so read how Kasra defines a citation before you rely on it. AI SEO Rainmakers uses a different model: 7-day 100% money back, no questions, keep the downloads, on the condition that you DM Charles before reaching Skool level 3.

Which is the best AI SEO Skool group?

It depends on what you rank. For operators building their own assets with parasite SEO and repos, AI SEO Rainmakers at $269 a month is our pick, and we pay for it. For a single brand that wants AI citations on a small budget, The New Search at $59 is the cheaper bet. For local SEO agencies, AI SEO Mastery Pro at $217. Free options exist too, listed on our best communities page.

How many members does The New Search have?

21 members and 1 admin as of 6 Sep 2026, per its Skool about page. The page states a 30-member cap for the $59 rate and shows the count as 21 of 30. It has one review, a five-star from 19 August 2026. AI SEO Rainmakers, launched 10 August 2026, had 314 members and 31 reviews on the same date, so the two groups are at different stages.

Can I get AI citations without joining either group?

Yes. Both groups package public methods: build pages that answer the question directly, earn mentions on sites the AI engines already cite, and test your prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. The groups sell speed, a weekly call and other people's test results. If you have time and no budget, start with the free groups on our best communities list and buy a paid seat once you know which questions you need answered.
