AI SEO Rainmakers Review: We Paid $269 and Counted Every Minute
Affiliate disclosure: we paid $269 for our own seat and earn a commission if you join through our links. That does not change the price you pay.
We paid $269 on 2 September 2026 to get inside Charles Floate's AI SEO Rainmakers Skool community. This review covers what a new member actually sees after the card clears, what stays padlocked, how many minutes of video sit in the classroom (we timed all 27 files), and whether the highest price in the AI SEO category holds up.
Verdict
AI SEO Rainmakers is an operator-level community with a known name at the front and a feed that was already busy three weeks after launch. The weekly Wednesday call is the product. The classroom is smaller than the pitch and mostly locked on day one. Worth the money if SEO already pays your bills. Skip it if you are still learning what a SERP is.

What AI SEO Rainmakers is
AI SEO Rainmakers is a paid Skool community that launched on 10 August 2026. The founding 100 seats sold out in seven hours. The pitch on seo.stream is short: get your brand retrieved, cited and recommended by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, then get paid for it.
As of 7 September 2026 the Skool about page shows 314 members, 3 admins and a 5.0 rating from 31 reviews. We read all 31. The median reviewer had been a member for three days when they posted, so read the rating as early enthusiasm rather than a track record. Our breakdown is in what the 31 reviews say.
You will see the name typed as AI SEO Rainmaker, Rainmakers Skool or just seo.stream. They all point at the same group.
Who Charles Floate is
Charles Floate is a British SEO consultant based in Koh Samui, Thailand. He started doing SEO at 12, was Head of SEO at SUSO Digital in London at 17, and has been penalised by Google personally twice, in 2013 and 2016, for teaching black hat in public. He has trained more than 20,000 SEOs through 25-plus courses and masterminds.
His consulting rates are public: $799 for a 15-minute call, $2,499 for a one-hour strategy session. That matters here, because the weekly call is 90 minutes or more of the same person for $269 a month. We cover his background in detail on the Charles Floate page.
What you get for $269
Five things carry the price.
The Wednesday call. Every Wednesday at 6pm Thailand time (UTC+7) Charles runs a live AI SEO Q&A and stays until the last question is answered. The seo.stream home page says 90 minutes, the community page says 3.5 hours. The three recordings we watched ran 1h10m, 1h13m and 1h32m, so the sessions are getting longer. Every call is recorded.
The classroom. Ten courses and, per seo.stream, 70 modules. We walk through the open ones further down.
CharlesGPT 3.1. A custom GPT trained on his process. Today it is a ChatGPT link. A CLI is promised for October 2026 and a web version after that.
Four repos. A build agent, a knowledge-graph engine, a parasite SEO pipeline and a rank intelligence suite, all downloadable today.
The feed. More than 540 posts in the first three weeks across The Lab, New Intel, Builds, Wins and Questions. On 5 September 2026 Charles dropped 100-plus AI SEO skill files into it. We tour the feed on the Skool community page.
What is locked on day one
Skool gates content by engagement level, and one like from another member equals one point. On the day you pay you are Level 1. Here is what each level opened for us.
| Level 1 (0 points) | The Foundations to AI SEO only |
| Level 2 (5 points) | Member DMs, CharlesGPT, Tools and Repos |
| Level 3 (20 points) | Vibe Coding course, Weekly Call Recordings |
| Level 4 (65 points) | Live Site Audits and Teardowns, submit your own site |
| Level 5 (155 points) | Charles' Private Dark Library |
| Level 7 (2,015 points) | The Level 7 Club |
Level 2 took us one honest comment in the intro thread. Level 3 took two more days of posting. By day three, seven of ten courses were open. You cannot pay your way past a padlock.
The classroom, course by course
We went through every open lesson and timed every video file. The seven courses below are what a member at Level 3 can see as of 4 September 2026. The curriculum page has the full lesson list.
1. The Foundations to AI SEO
9 lessons, 38 minutes of video, Level 1. Three groups: The Shift, The Levers, The Operation. The 10-minute AI Search and SEO 101 lesson carries the course. It splits an AI engine into four layers (training, retrieval, answer, recommendation) and tells you which layer each tactic moves. The Operation closes with a six-stage loop turned into a seven-day plan, with a tracking sheet attached. Thirty-eight minutes is short for a foundations course, and it is still the most useful half hour in the room.
2. Tools and Repos plus Setup Guides
12 lessons, 20 minutes of video, Level 2. Only two lessons are video. The other ten are written pages, and several are download links to working software: the four repos, his tech stack and API list, setup guides written for people who have never opened a terminal, and the Claude Skills Library. The 13-minute video is a screen-share of Operator, his self-hosted control plane. It ships to members in monthly pieces to December 2026.
3. Learn Vibe Coding for AI SEO
13 lessons, 49 minutes of video, Level 3. Five sections: Setting Up, The Terminal, Plugins, Building An App, Maintenance. The payoff is a 15-minute build-along where Charles drives Claude Code through three prompts and ends with a local tool that reads a SERP and returns a ranked attack queue. The tool runs against a hand-made fixture on camera because he keeps his DataForSEO keys off screen.
4. Using CharlesGPT 3.1
2 written lessons, no video, Level 2. The first lesson is a link to the custom GPT. The second is a prompting doctrine: feed it GSC exports and backlink data instead of asking for definitions, keep one long conversation, and ask it to attack your plan. That second lesson applies to any model. The tool itself is a public custom GPT link today.
5. Weekly Call Recordings
3 recordings, 3 hours 57 minutes, Level 3. Friday 21 August (1:10:39), Wednesday 26 August (1:13:30), Wednesday 2 September (1:32:57).This one course holds about 60 percent of every video minute in the classroom.
6. Community Gold Vault
1 lesson. It is the Golden Thread List, 18 curated links to the best member threads. Two minutes to read and the fastest shortcut past 540 feed posts. Calling it a course is generous.
7. Private Expert Interviews
4 lessons, 1 published. Metehan Yesilyurt of Peec AI is live at 51 minutes. Ian Howells and Dan Petrovic are listed with dates and empty bodies as of 4 September. Judge this course again in a month.
The video-minutes reality
The classroom holds 27 video lessons. We measured 6 hours 37 minutes in total, not the 15-plus hours you will see quoted. Three hours 57 minutes of that is call recordings. The four taught courses add up to about 1 hour 46 minutes.
That split tells you what you are buying. Weekly access to Charles is the product, and the courses are supporting material. If you would never sit through a Wednesday call or its recording, most of your $269 sits unused. The written lessons and the repos are larger than the video count suggests.

Is $269 a month worth it?
As of 6 September 2026, $269 buys members 276 to 300. Members 301 to 325 pay $279, and the ladder adds $10 every 25 seats. Founding members paid $179. The rate you join at locks for as long as you stay subscribed, so the number on the page today is the lowest you will ever see. The full ladder is on our pricing page.
The safety net is a 7-day, 100 percent refund with no questions asked. The Skool page says to message Charles before you reach Level 3. Level 3 is 20 likes. Post hard in week one and you can close your own refund window before day seven.
The seo.stream page frames the offer as $16,474 a month of value. That is the seller's arithmetic. Our arithmetic is simpler. If one AI SEO retainer or one affiliate page pays $800 a month, the seat pays for itself three times over. If you have no SEO income yet, $269 for a classroom you mostly cannot open is a hard sell.
What the 31 Skool reviews actually say
We pulled every review on the AI SEO Rainmakers about page on 7 September 2026. There are 31 of them, all rated 5 stars, which is where the 5.0 average comes from.
Twenty-eight of the 31 reviewers joined on or before 17 August, the launch week. The median reviewer waited three days after joining before posting, nine posted within a day, and only two reviews have been added since 1 September. Thirty of the 31 were still paying members when we checked. Skool only lets paying members review, and it prompts them at 30 days, so almost every one of these was written voluntarily in the first fortnight.
The six below are the ones with something specific in them.
"Most communities sell you courses and leave you to it. This one hands you live site teardowns where you watch Charles reverse engineer real member sites in real time, plus weekly calls where he stays until every question gets answered."
"I've been in SEO since 2016. Considering it's Charles himself running this course, the weekly call alone is worth the price of admission."
"Charles is really good at stripping (what can be) very technical topics down to their foundational core so anyone can understand them. This is the first community I've spent money on that I didn't instantly regret giving my $$$ to."
"The info provided is actually advanced, I didn't even had time to DIVE into all of it and understand all concepts fully (and I work in SEO for 5 years now, own a small agency)."
"If you're serious about SEO, especially Black Hat SEO, this is a group worth joining. With access to CharlesGPT, Skills, and a range of other resources, the overall value of the community is exceptional."
"One of the few SEO communities I've joined where the information is genuinely advanced and immediately useful. What I like most is that the community is focused on actually implementing things, testing ideas and sharing what works."
What is missing from all 31. Not one review reports a ranking, a traffic number, a client win or a dollar figure. Zero mention the four downloadable repos, which we rate as the best thing in the classroom. Two mention the weekly call, one mentions CharlesGPT, and one is five stars with no text at all. The median review runs 27 words, and 13 of the 31 are under 25 words.
The reviews are genuine. They are also the sound of paying members giving a four-week-old community the benefit of the doubt. A 5.0 from 31 reviews tells you the room is happy in week one, and nothing yet about whether the method pays. For member results, read the feed and our downsides before you decide.
Who should join, and who should skip
Join if you already run an agency, affiliate sites or a SaaS and want frontier AI search tactics. Join if you want Charles Floate answering your question on a Wednesday instead of paying $2,499 for the hour. Join if aggressive, test-first, gray-hat methods do not bother you.
Skip if you are new to SEO and need structured fundamentals that open on day one. Skip if $269 a month is a stretch. Skip if you avoid black hat on principle, because the Dark Library and the feed will not respect that line.
The downsides
The price is the highest in the category and only moves up. The classroom is level-gated, so you pay full rate for padlocks until you earn points. The community is under a month old, and every 5-star rating comes from first-month members. The two headline tools, Operator and CharlesGPT Web, are roadmap items rather than downloads. And the gray-hat tilt is a real compliance risk if you run client or corporate sites.
How it compares
Rainmakers sits at the premium, specialist end of the AI SEO Skool market. We rank it against the field in our best AI SEO Skool communities list. The two closest rivals get their own pages: Rainmakers vs AI SEO Mastery Pro by Caleb Ulku and Rainmakers vs The New Search. For rival prices, check each Skool about page for the current number. AI Ranking (skool.com/ai-ranking) was $27 a month with 697 members on 6 September 2026, which makes it the value pick if budget decides.

Questions people ask
Are the AI SEO Rainmakers reviews on Skool real?
They are real in the sense that Skool only allows paying members to review, and 30 of the 31 reviewers were still subscribed on 7 September 2026. Read them with the dates in mind. Twenty-eight joined in the launch week of August 2026, the median reviewer posted three days after joining, and not one of the 31 reports a ranking, a traffic figure or a dollar amount.
Is AI SEO Rainmakers worth $269 a month?
It is worth it if you already earn from SEO and one retainer or affiliate win covers a few months of fees. You are paying for a weekly call with Charles Floate, four downloadable repos and a feed of working operators. It is not worth it for beginners, because most of the classroom is level-locked on day one and the video library runs 6h37m in total.
How much does AI SEO Rainmakers cost right now?
As of 6 September 2026 the rate is $269 per month for members 276 to 300. The next step is $279 for members 301 to 325, and the price rises $10 every 25 members. The founding 100 seats sold at $179 and went in seven hours. Your rate locks for as long as you stay subscribed and never comes back down.
Does AI SEO Rainmakers have a refund policy?
Yes. There is a 7-day, 100 percent money-back guarantee with no questions asked, and you keep any downloads. The Skool page adds one condition: message Charles before you reach Level 3. Level 3 needs 20 likes from other members, so a busy first week can close the refund window before the seven days run out.
Why is most of the AI SEO Rainmakers classroom locked?
Skool opens content by engagement level, and each like from another member is one point. Level 1 opens the Foundations course only. Level 2 needs 5 points and opens the tools, repos and CharlesGPT. Level 3 needs 20 points and opens Vibe Coding plus the call recordings. Teardowns sit at Level 4, the Dark Library at Level 5, and the Level 7 Club needs 2,015 points.
How many hours of video are in the AI SEO Rainmakers classroom?
We measured 6 hours 37 minutes across 27 video lessons as of 4 September 2026. Three hours 57 minutes of that is three weekly call recordings, so the four taught courses add up to roughly 1 hour 46 minutes of video. The rest of the classroom is written lessons, setup guides and download pages for the repos. The 15-plus hours figure quoted elsewhere does not match what is on the shelf.
Is AI SEO Rainmakers a good fit for agencies with client sites?
Only if you can separate the tactics. Charles Floate teaches parasite SEO openly, the Dark Library at Level 5 covers safeguard bypasses, and the feed discusses aged domains without apology. The weekly call, the Foundations course and the repos are usable on client work. If your contracts or your compliance team rule out gray-hat methods, pick a different community.
Who runs AI SEO Rainmakers, Charles Floate or Julian Goldie?
Charles Floate owns and runs AI SEO Rainmakers, hosts the Wednesday call himself and replies in the feed. Julian Goldie appears as a testimonial on the seo.stream sales page, which is why search engines sometimes mix the two up. Goldie runs his own separate communities, AI Profit Boardroom and AI SEO Success Lab, and neither is connected to Rainmakers.
