The rate: 50% of whatever your referral pays

Skool lets a community owner set one affiliate percentage for the whole group. For AI SEO Rainmakers that setting is 50. We read it from the Skool about-page payload on 2 September 2026 (the field is aflPercent), and it matched the "50% recurring" figure we cite on our Mastery Pro comparison. For context, AI SEO Mastery Pro pays 40%.

Recurring means every month. A member you refer pays Skool, Skool splits the payment, and half of it lands in your pending balance. That repeats each billing cycle until the member cancels or you do.

The dollar figure moves with the price ladder. Rainmakers charges $269 a month for members 276 to 300 as of 6 Sep 2026, with 314 members on the about page. The next step is $279 at member 301, and the rate climbs $10 every 25 members after that. Your commission follows the price the referred member pays, so it rises with the ladder:

How Skool affiliate links work (verified on Skool's help pages)

Everything in this section comes from three articles in Skool's help centre, fetched on 7 September 2026: article 187 "How to refer other members to a community and earn affiliate commissions", article 192 "How to set up member affiliates for your community", and article 219 "What to do if a referral wasn't attributed". Where a detail is missing from those pages we say so rather than guess.

The link itself

A Skool referral link is the group's about URL with a ?ref= parameter and your affiliate ID. Skool's article 187 says that if you are a member of a paid group with the affiliates feature turned on by the admins, you will see an option to invite others to that group. The help page does not name the exact tab, so check Skool's affiliate help page or look for the invite option inside the community. Our own link is wired to /join/ on this site; we never paste the raw ref URL into copy.

Cookie and attribution

Skool uses a 14-day last-touch attribution method. Article 187: when somebody clicks your referral link, Skool places a cookie in their browser, and if they sign up any time in the next 14 days the referral is attributed to you. Last touch means that if your reader clicks someone else's link after yours, the other affiliate wins.

Who gets credited, and who does not

• You must have an active membership in the group at the moment the new member joins. Article 187 says the referral is not attributed otherwise, and article 219 repeats that a cancelled subscription voids it.
• Owners and admins cannot refer to their own group. Article 192: "It's only for members of the group." Article 219 lists mods as eligible.
• The referred person must be new to the group. Someone rejoining is not attributed.
• The person must have clicked the link. A screenshot of the URL typed by hand does not count.
• Skool support cannot add or reassign attribution. Article 219 calls the system "end-to-end automated".

Payout timing and method

When you earn a commission, Skool holds it as pending for 14 days so the member has time to see the charge and decide whether to refund. Rainmakers offers a 7-day money-back guarantee, which sits inside that window. Once the balance is available you click PAYOUT in Skool, choose the country your bank account is in, verify your phone number with a code, enter personal details that match your ID exactly, upload identity documents, and Skool pays the balance to your bank. You must be at least 18 to withdraw.

We could not find a minimum payout amount, a fixed payout day, or a list of supported countries on Skool's help pages. For those, check Skool's affiliate help page before you plan around the income.

Who can promote AI SEO Rainmakers

In practice, paying members. The active-membership rule means the affiliate program is closed to outsiders: you pay $269 a month (or whatever the ladder shows when you join), stay subscribed, and share your link. If you drop out, your referrals stop paying you.

That shapes who this suits. An SEO who writes reviews or answers questions in other Skool groups can offset their seat with a few referrals. Someone who has never used the product and wants to arbitrage the 50% rate cannot get a link without paying first, and the 7-day refund window is shorter than the 14-day pending hold, so there is no free ride.

What converts

We have run this site since 6 September 2026, so our own data is thin. What follows is what we built and why, based on the search results we checked on 6 Sep 2026 in the US.

Honest review content. No on-topic review existed for "ai seo rainmakers review" when we checked. The results were law-firm and martial-arts "Rainmaker" noise. A review that states the measured facts (6h37m of video across 27 lessons, 60% of it call recordings, courses level-gated on day one, 7-day refund) beats a hype page because readers who search the brand plus "review" already want the product and want a reason to trust the purchase.

Comparison pages. Buyers weigh Rainmakers against AI SEO Mastery Pro ($217), The New Search ($59 while under 30 members) and Julian Goldie's AI Profit Boardroom ($59). The weekly-call hook. The strongest single selling point we found inside is the Wednesday Q&A. Charles stays until every question is answered; the three recordings we watched ran 3h57m combined. "Ask a two-time-penalised SEO anything, every week" is a concrete promise. Use it.

The ladder. The rate never comes down and rises $10 every 25 members. Telling readers the next step is $279 is true and it moves people. Telling them there is a sale is false.

What not to do

Fake discount codes. No coupon, promo code or sale has ever been offered for AI SEO Rainmakers as of 7 Sep 2026. The only price movement has been upward, from $179 to $269. A page built around "AI SEO Rainmakers coupon" will disappoint the reader, and a refund inside the 14-day hold wipes your commission.

Brand bidding without permission. Running paid search ads on "ai seo rainmakers" or "charles floate" is a policy risk. Those terms are Charles's and Skool's to control, and seo.stream already runs its own paid-search lander at /rainmakers/. Ask before you bid. If the answer is no, the answer is no.

Invented results. We cannot verify any member's income claims and we do not publish them. Every visible Skool review on 6 Sep 2026 came from a member 11 to 21 days in. Quoting those as proof of long-term results would be dishonest, and Skool support will not save an attribution that a refund kills.

Pasting the raw link everywhere. Skool's feed rules and other communities' rules apply. A referral link dropped into a rival group's feed tends to get deleted along with the account.

The math of a small referral base

Assume every referral joins at today's $269 and stays.

Two referrals pay for your seat. Five referrals is $672.50 a month, or $8,070 over a year if all five stay twelve months. If the ladder has reached $299 by the time your later referrals join, each of those pays $149.50 instead, and your ten-member row moves closer to $1,400.

Now the caveats, because that table has a big "if" in it.

• No retention data exists. The community is four weeks old. Nobody, including Charles, knows what share of members are still paying in month six. Our sister review scored Value for Money 3.5 out of 5 and Beginner Friendliness 2.8, which suggests some churn from people who bought above their level.
• The 7-day refund. A member who refunds inside 7 days never clears Skool's 14-day hold, so that referral pays you nothing.
• Your own seat costs $269. Net of your subscription, five referrals leave you $403.50 a month, and one referral leaves you $134.50 short.
• The price rises for buyers. Each $10 step raises your per-member share by $5 and also raises the bar for the next buyer. At $299 or $319 the pool of people who will pay gets smaller.

Treat the program as a way to make your AI SEO Rainmaker seat free, with upside if you write well. Anyone selling it as a business on its own is guessing.
