AI SEO Rainmakers Complaints: What Buyers Object To

Affiliate disclosure: we paid $269 for our own seat on 2 September 2026 and earn a commission if you join through our links. That does not change the price you pay, and it is why this page lists our own objections too.

On 17 October 2026 we searched Reddit, Trustpilot, X and Google for complaints about AI SEO Rainmakers. We found no public complaint from a paying member and no report of a refused refund. Skool showed 5.0 from 48 reviews on 11 October 2026. Eight objections do have a source. Each is listed below with its date, including the ones we hold ourselves as paying members.

The short answer

No member complaint is on the public record yet. The real objections are about fit and price: it is the most expensive AI SEO group on Skool, the price only rises, the refund window can close before day seven, the classroom is smaller than the pitch, and the teaching leans black and gray hat. Some SEOs also distrust Charles Floate himself. If none of those rule you out, the 7-day refund lets you test it.

1. It is the most expensive AI SEO group on Skool, and the price only goes up

Rainmakers costs $319 a month as of 11 October 2026. The founding 100 paid $179, and every block of seats since has paid more. On 17 October 2026 the rivals cost $217 (AI SEO Mastery Pro), $69 (AI Profit Boardroom), $59 (The New Search), $27 (AI Ranking) and nothing (AI SEO Operators).

Our view: true, and the main reason most people should not join. We score value for money 3.5 out of 5. The seat pays for itself only if you use the weekly call on work that already earns. The pricing page has the full history.

2. The sales page and the checkout have shown different prices

On 7 September 2026 the seo.stream buy button showed $219 a month while Skool charged us $269. On 7 October seo.stream still showed $219 while Skool charged $299. By 11 October both read $319. Some seo.stream subpages still showed $259 in September.

Our view: a fair complaint about the sales page. Skool is the checkout, so the Skool price is the one that charges your card. Our seo.stream page logs each mismatch.

3. The refund window can close before day seven

The guarantee is a full refund if you DM Charles before Level 3. Level 3 takes 20 likes on your posts. We reached it in three days.

Our view: the rule is printed on the Skool page, so it is not hidden, but it punishes the members who engage most. If you want the option, send the DM early. Our refund page and cancellation guide give the steps.

4. The classroom is smaller than the pitch, and most of it is locked on day one

We timed every video open to us on 4 September 2026: 6 hours 37 minutes across 27 lessons, against "15+ hours" quoted elsewhere. About 60 percent of it is weekly call recordings. Seven of the ten courses that existed then were open to us by day three. Live Site Audits opens at Level 4, the Dark Library at Level 5 and the Level 7 Club at Level 7. By 11 October Skool listed 14 courses and 128 modules, which we have not re-timed.

Our view: true for anyone buying a video course. The weekly call, the repos and the skill files carry the value. The curriculum page keeps both datasets apart.

5. The bonus list has changed

On 7 September 2026 the Skool about page listed three bonuses: the Dark Library, "The $1,000+ Per Hour AI SEO Framework" and AI SEO Mastermind giveaways. We found no classroom lesson for the last two. On 17 October 2026 the same page reads "Dark Library + AI SEO framework bonuses", and the giveaway line is gone.

Our view: judge the membership on what sits in the classroom. Our bonuses page lists what we could open.

6. It teaches black and gray hat

The Dark Library opens at Level 5, and on 7 September 2026 the about page listed "Bypass Fable Safeguards" among its contents. Google penalised Charles Floate in 2013 and 2016 for teaching black hat in public. One five-star reviewer names black hat as the reason to join.

Our view: a real risk for agencies with compliance-heavy clients and for anyone who will not touch that line. For that buyer, AI SEO Mastery Pro is the closer fit; see our comparison.

7. Some SEOs distrust Charles Floate himself

On r/SEO on 27 March 2024, the one substantive reply to a thread about his courses said not to buy, on the grounds that people who can do SEO do not sell courses. On r/seogrowth on 6 October 2025, replies to a post of his screenshots called him a self-promoter and accused him of lying. These are opinions in public threads. None comes from a Rainmakers member.

Our view: his record is public, with 18 years in SEO, two Google penalties and a long Reddit and X history. Read both sides on our Charles Floate page and our Reddit page.

8. The reviews are early and say nothing about results

We read the first 31 Skool reviews on 7 September 2026. None reported a ranking, a traffic number, a client win or a dollar figure. The median review ran 27 words, and almost every reviewer posted within their first three weeks.

Our view: read the 5.0 as early satisfaction. It says nothing yet about whether the method pays. Our review breaks the set down.

What we did not find

Which objections should change your decision

If you are new to SEO, objections 1, 3 and 4 decide it: skip Rainmakers and start with a cheaper group from our alternatives page. If you work for compliance-heavy brands, objection 6 decides it. If you already earn from SEO and want a weekly call with Charles, the price is the only objection that counts, and the 7-day refund lets you test it as long as you DM before Level 3. Our full verdict is in the AI SEO Rainmakers review, and the legitimacy checks are on is it legit?

Questions people ask

Are there complaints about AI SEO Rainmakers?

As of 17 October 2026 we found no public complaint from a paying member on Reddit, Trustpilot or X. The objections that do have a source are about price, the refund rule, the size of the classroom, the black and gray hat lean, and Charles Floate's reputation among some SEOs.

Is AI SEO Rainmakers a scam?

We found no evidence of one. We paid $269 on 2 September 2026 and had access within minutes, and billing runs through Skool. Whether it is worth $319 a month for you is a separate question, covered in our review and on our is it legit page.

Has anyone been refused a refund?

We found no public report of a refused refund as of 17 October 2026. The guarantee requires a DM to Charles within seven days and before Level 3, and Skool's help centre says group admins decide refunds.

Does AI SEO Rainmakers have Trustpilot reviews?

No. On 17 October 2026 seo.stream had an unclaimed Trustpilot profile with 0 reviews, and there was no listing for AI SEO Rainmakers or Charles Floate. The member reviews sit on the Skool about page.

Is the Reddit "RainMaker sham" thread about this community?

No. That r/LawFirm thread from 17 July 2018 is about The Rainmaker Institute, a marketing agency for law firms. It shares a word with AI SEO Rainmakers and nothing else.
